| 14-Year-Old Boy Charged for Raping Seven-Year-Old Twins |

An Asaba Chief Magistrate’s Court has ordered that a 14-year-old boy, charged with raping seven-year-old twin sisters, be remanded in the Juvenile Home in Sapele, Delta. Police prosecutor, David Okeh, told the court that the boy had illegal carnal knowledge of the twin sisters at different times within eight days. Chief Magistrate, Helen Okonkwo-Ikeh, who heard the charges in her chambers because the accused person is a minor, did not take his plea. Mrs Okonkwo-Ikeh explained that the case was beyond the jurisdiction of the court. |
